Excitement encompassed me, just looking at the Eagle ray was exciting, and I had never seen them this shallow before. It was flapping its wings on the smooth rock. Its tail was hitting the slimy grey rock. The water smelt like rock salt when making butter chicken. The Eagle Ray was like an elephant with wings and an extra long tail. What an awesome education! The Animal of Bizarre
On Motuihe Island animals are causing conditions using unknown powers that cannot be seen. The animal has useful weapons to frighten humans in the middle of the night. Jack Evans, one of the DOC (Department of Conservation) staff was frightened last night.
He told the Motuihe Herald that “It was huge once it’s out side my tent, but once it tried to steal my dinner it was about the size of a toad. I hid under my sleeping bag and froze, not even a muscle moved. I reached to my cell phone and SNAP!!!! The creature blinked and fainted just before I crawled out of my sleeping bag.”
According to Jack the creature looked like a small flying squirrel but with stripes in the order of colours of brown, grey and white. It lives in hollows in the tree, but the tree has a door so it could easily escape. When seeing something new, it is a curious creature. Before scaring campers away to eat their food he will blind their eyes with his paws. He is not easily tired when predators are chasing. He does whatever peoples do (including stealing). He only has second memories, and can cast spells with his tail.
Since all of DOC staff have started investigating the matter a photograph has been taken of the animal to examine it. The photo is now held in the Museum of the World. The scientists are studying this photo and will soon release their report.

There I was dwarfed next to the enormous deserted tree with its shadow stalking me.
Everything was silent and still I could only hear the
rope rattling against the wood and the trees whistling leaves. I felt a shiver tingling my whole body and I knew someone walked over my grave. I froze in deep silence. I tried to think of jubilant thoughts but there was nothing, Nothing to calm my nerves.
I was frightened, alarmed, terrified. What if something happened like the rope spanned and I slammed in to a blackhole?
There I was ready to get my helmet and harness. My helmet was smooth, I felt it crashing on my head. My harness also felt like an alligators’ coarse back. Finally it was my turn. I got up to the top of the deserted tree. All I could see was my life flashing before me. I was forced to sit down in the icy, crisp air. As I was smoothly gliding down the rattling rope I felt a tough pull. I was alarmed that something was wrong. After all that I made it down from the enormous tree.
I was so proud and couldn’t wait for my next turn.

You will need:
2 Sprite bottles
Hot glue gun
Dowelling Rods
String
1. Get two Sprite bottles
2. Cut one of the bottles in half and one of the bottles a third from the top.
3. Wash all the pieces of the bottle then dry them (make sure they are dried very well
or the seed will go mouldy)
4. Take the lids off the bottles and put the longer top upside down into the base. Hot glue
gun them together.
5. Hot glue gun the shorter top to the longer top.
6. Get a piece of dowelling rod and make a hole on either side of the bottom of the feeder
7. Stick the piece of dowel through the holes you made then hot glue gun around the
holes so it can’t come out.
8. Just above the dowel cut out a arch way big enough for the bird to get the seed.
9. Make sure all the glue is dry then you can decorate it how you like (try to make it
native colours)
10. Once everything is dry put bird seed in it and tie string around the top.
11. Go and hang it where you like.

Following reports of people being scared by a monster on Motuihe Island, a Room 15 reporter went to investigate what is happening on the island.
It was found that a mysterious monster goes around eating and robbing humans. It lives in a deadly pirate tree. It’s green with a deadly pirate hat. Because he is see through he can scare people and can control them by going into them. Not only does it eat humans but it also eats every thing in sight. It is hard to spot because it is the fastest thing in the galaxy….
But do not be scared you might have a chance to run away!!!.

Motuihe campers are being frightened by mysterious creatures. Campers from Otago say:
“We’ve seen this weird creature with pink spots and sapphire blue fur. We feel Motuihe should be sealed for investigation.”
A few newspaper reporters have started investigating and the chief investigator says that they’ve seen the same creature the Otago campers saw. The reporters have even told of one animal that has one red eye, green teeth with black stripes, a circle shape body, yellow nose, vermillion lips and it even has six legs and four arms.”
The Department of Conservation is now investigating and have told that the creature also breathes out beads, flies, tells jokes, loves dolls and cars and eats grass plus fish.
Reporters also say that the creature is absolutely harmless and safe to go near.
A violent salty sea spray roared over the motionless delicate sand. Shells of every colour, rich ruby red, powerful orange and sunny golden yellow were scattered beneath the towering cliffs. The dreadful taste of salty water was thrown into my mouth by the raging waves.
I threw a smooth, midnight black coloured stone, and then trudged back along towards the soft green grass.

We were zooming through space at high speed, spooky music

being in a hurricane! Bang! A massive explosion blasting
yellow and orange light. And then….. nothing…
We were floating weirdly in space. Zoom! Here we go again!

Screech went the brake! We were finally here. I could smell the stinky smell of the Koala and felt like I was going to run but we were already entering the highlight of my holiday. Although it stunk I was still OK.
As soon as I saw the Koalas and how good they looked on camera I was certain that I wanted to have my photo taken with a koala. I got in the line to have my photo taken, I froze and thought “how heavy was it going to be?”
Coming out of my day dream it was my turn. I held a Koala called Becky. She felt soft and warm as when I cuddle up on the couch with mum and she wasn’t that heavy. Her claws left tiny holes in my T-shirt!
I have a wonderful picture to remind me of to remind me of this special moment.
